A humanitarian woman who keeps trying, and failing, to save J from time to time. They have pretty good relationship and Shepard really does put up with J's demands and bullshit more than most. J thinks it's because she's feeling bad for saving her life or something. Lately things have been awkward though since J shot her to the gut.
The relationship between these two is everything but positive. Rinzler is collecting a stamp card for stabbing J. He has killed her twice now. First time left her with no voice and scared. Second time she doesn't care about that much. But it takes two to tango and J really treats him horribly in return. It's too bad since there's a common ground and a potential for them to understand each other.
The second worst woman J has met. But at least she's great company when you don't want anything serious. She secretly appreciates her lax and carefree nature and worldview, it really gives her room to be her shit talking self. Even though Hawke keeps grossing J out.
Tony is full of shit. J thinks she can see through his bullshit and vice versa which has kept this weird friendship patched up. They started from being business partners until shit went down. And now she's holding a lighter over this bridge. After Sans left Tony started to replace the sense of safety. She trusted him at least until he wanted her leave (for a good reason). If he wants her gone she'll stay gone, no big deal.
A showrobot to be more precise? What an interesting idea. J met Mtt the first time when he and Sans held a beauty contest: leg con. She can definitely see some of the diva aspects in his personality and behavior, which, surprising enough, doesn't bother her all that much? She also finds his curious nature pretty entertaining -- or at least did until the party planet happened and they hooked up. Kinda.
Also apparently he dated Papyrus? Talk about awkward
Ok. J has probably heard wayyyy too much of Nate's sex life than what is healthy. They've never really met outside of the bar and majority of their conversations take place in the network, which 95% of the time also are about his wife and married life. She really needs to meet the lady sometime herself. He also paints his life to be pretty interesting, which is pretty dubious since his conversation topics are pretty dull.
It's almost sad how well did J and Adrien get along at first. He didn't like talking and J couldn't talk. So instead of using their voices they wrote to each other. It really worked until J got her voice back and Adrien got to see her abrasive nature. Or like J sees it: until she stopped fawning around him. What used to be nice and warm is now distant and cold. He's nowadays pretty nervous around her, too.
Even though they both have stayed on Moira for over a year now Wanda and J haven't really talked that much? When they first met Wanda accidentally picked out J's strong emotions as she was going to do something stupid and potentially harmful to herself. She stopped her and tried to talk her out of it. To which J responded by calling her freaky bitch. So, uh. Awkward, especially when you consider what kind of relationship she has with her brother.
Tex is pretty weird case. She seems to be interested in J's fashion and make up even though she doesn't herself up? The way she talks about those things make it sound like she doesn't know a thing about femininity? -- Which might not be too far from the truth, though.
She's apparently Tony's ladyfriend? Who she didn't know that existed? So, can you really blame J for reacting with cautious!? Pepper really doesn't deserve J's shit but her points aren't exactly high now that she's the reason why Tony wanted to get rid of her.
They started as the worst roommates you could ask for and somehow ended up finding a family from each other. At first, J was very scared of Sans, the freaking talking skeleton, and avoided him the best she could. But eventually he became the embodiment of 'home' and safety to J. It was a wild ride. But then he left and J's secretly been carrying a broken heart since that.
Another cr that started as negative. They pretty much hated each other until they got stuck in the elevator and had no choice but face another. And surprising enough they weren't that different -- quite the opposite. This small, disabled man is the first and only one who she has recognized as her "own people." Someone she could relate to. He was also the first person to ever call J a woman. Mr. Miles even promised to take her with him to his world so that she wouldn't have to go home where she's hated. Sounded like a good deal but then Ingress claimed him back before he could keep that promise.
Danny was the first friend J made on Moira. They arrived on the same wave and during the first night they got drunk together and crashed Danny's room. The were both tired and confused and they just clicked in a way that people rarely do. Even though they were never a couple their friendship had some romantic tones to it. Unfortunately it all ended when J couldn't place her trust on him and chased him away.
Hoo boy. It's weird how each time J and Aurelia met death or violence was present. Back in the March she ended up on whaling boat with her and gave hand in killing one of the flying whales. And just like everyone else; J was scared of Aurelia but also kind of impressed by her attitude? They did share few opinions and she believed she could keep Aurelia on the check as long she didn't show her fear. You know, like with horses.
J killed Aurelia during the Caducan invasion, it was a mercy killing. Luckily enough only Peter knows about it. But it still doesn't help her with the guilt she's bearing.
Oh the good old days when Moira had cafe. J didn't really care about Allison, at least in the beginning. She spent lot of time with being difficult customer on purpose and making fun out of her modern fashion sense, because c'mon.Where's glamour. They became somewhat closer after J died the first time and lost her voice. Despite everything Allison showed some patience with her and even helped her to bleach her hair. So yeah, there was truce of sorts.
Funny thing is that J and Zam have met plenty of times, but each time Zam's had different appearance thanks to their shapeshifting and J never made a connection. Their 'friendship' started when they were both caught and sold to mudersport slavery where they were meant to kill each other. Despite almost getting killed, she doesn't blame Zam for any of it and ever since they've had pretty good relationship. They both are mostly done with dealing all the bullshit that happens on Moira and just keep complaining about it together while eating popcorn.
A sister J never knew she needed. Kara is actually one of the few women that she got along with right away. They would talk about men and dating together and rate the men of Moira openly in the network. Not the deepest bond but it was a good start.
Never in her life has J hated someone as quickly as she did Jacky. And for no good reason. The first meeting between these two divas ended up in a disaster and ever since there was weird (and kind of one-sided) rivalry between them. J couldn't accept that Jacky was allowed both work in the bar and sing there. Not with that voice. And as an insult to injury she seemed to be good friends with Mr. Miles, too.
Bel was one of the first people J met on Moira -- and the very first nonbinary person she ever came across. Feeling still bitter, hurt and unsafe from events from home led J to treat them rather harshly while Bel in return tried to stay as patient and calm as possible. Let's say that it didn't go well on J's part. Ever since calming down J has felt regret from this whole incident but never enough to seek out Bel to make things right.
When they first met Bruce made J accidentally drop her cigarette and then she insisted that he'll need to treat her something sweet in return -- to which he agreed to. J really liked Bruce for lot of reasons. She found him interesting and challenge as she kept pushing and testing his buttons (and bottom) to see which will get a reaction out of him. Mostly she wanted to make him blush with her teasing. But more than that, Bruce was one of the first people who showed her respect and understanding. He never asked too many questions about her life and past but instead gave her pace and listened to her needs. Truly a marvelous guy.
Dear god, isn't he just dreamy? Almost impossible to believe that he's related to Mr. Miles. Too bad that out of those two Lord Ivan was only blessed with good looks and not brain. Of course J tried to hit on him at first, to which he was too dumb and self-centered to respond, but quickly gave up on that. Outside of flirting they didn't really get along and J got pissed when Ivan happened to take look at her medical files that had all information from her past.
Now the relationship between these two was interesting one. Niko seemed to have some kind of patience to J's ignorance and offensive mouth, or at least as long he wasn't her target. On network they got along just fine but outside of that? Not so much. J had been hiding a gun in Cargo Bay, where Niko worked, ever since they left Emiri and this didn't please the other man. J refused to keep it on her room or give it to someone else which caused discord between them for months. Niko was also only one who knew about J's background as a prostitute.
But despite all of things, J could feel respect towards this ruffian. He genuinely tried to give a shit that happened to people on Moira.
Now, here's something fun. J and Kobra have had this casual "friends with benefits" kind of relationship where they hook up now and then. It's absolutely nothing serious, which works for her. Kobra is kind of cute and despite his awful sausage jokes he's still not too bad company. He used to be the head of the kitchens and helped to smuggle fruits and such to the bar.
Now this is something J didn't plan. Peter started as nothing but as a game, a distraction. But as the time and events went by the game turned into something more complicated and real. It's kind of freaky and scary and J doesn't know how to deal. Despite both of them being unable to connect when they need there's still this mutual ust and need to see each other safe and sound. Amazing teenage mess.
No, seriously. Fuck him and fuck him. A better half of her wants to have nothing to do with him ever again but then again, he is like a fuel to her self-destructive tendencies. You really don't come across this kind of person often, one that's perfectly fine with using and being used. He also thinks he's a big deal when he really isn't, overly confident and rude. Which is ok, since J can be awful too. Plus, she's kind of worried about him.
