Is the feeling taking over, hit you like a freight train? - BAR
['Be careful what you wish for.'
As the thought passed through her mind J was hit by the strongest wave of deja vu. It's almost freaky how quickly the anger, frustration and hurt that were dominating her mind just a second ago were gone and replaced by a feeling of familiarity and recognition -- like the one you get when you visit your childhood neighborhood after years of being gone. Gone was the chilly wind of New York's cold April evening and the echo from click of her heels fill in the empty hallway of the station. The change from outdoors to indoors really treated her well as she was only wearing her black dress with no coat.
Guided by this strange kind of melancholia and nostalgia J makes her way to the bar area and that's when it all hits. Memories are flooding into her all fresh and real. It's like she hadn't left the place in the first place.]
Huh. So much for a warm welcoming party. [She muses to herself and sits down on the stool, digging up a golden cigarette case from her pulse. She lights herself a smoke and leans her elbows on the counter like a bored cat.] Now, who'll pour this poor girl a drink and then take for a spin on the dance floor?
Did your tip toes tappin' bout the song they're playing? - RESIDENTIAL AREA
[A forgotten song is playing in the hallways of the __Suite's. And from the Unit 2 there can be heard a familiar voice, one that has been missing for a long time, singing along the lyrics:]
♪ ♬I'm through with love
I'll never fall again
Said adieu to love
Don't ever call again
For I must love you or no one
And so I'm through with love♬ ♪
[J's found her way back to her old room and is sitting on the bed while going through of her previous belongings. She's really impressed to see that her roomie (ex-roomie?) had actually kept everything she left behind and even took care some of it, at least her portable record player was working like a dream. Right next to her there was a pile of different kind of lingerie, colorful showgirl costumes, unfinished sewing projects, countless amount of cosmetic products from makeup to body lotions, cigarettes, diamonds and one huge teddy bear. ]
Back to square one, it seems. [Well, only mostly. She certainly has more stuff on her than last time this happened but there was something very.. restless in this situation. ]
Have you the hard time, the one to make your motor run? - THREAT
[And of course the calm and peace couldn't last. Not in this world. How silly of her to think that because really, J should know that better by now.
And just like always, she hadn't really been looking for trouble and only walked around allowing her feet to take her to places. That's when she came across someone whom she vaguely recognized from the twin planets -- big, tank-like guy who sold diamonds and jewelry. If she remembers correctly they had even hit it off once or twice but honestly? None of that interested her at the moment. Unfortunately, she didn't get too far before she heard heavy steps rushing towards her -- seemingly not in good intentions. ]
Well, fuck! [She curses and begins to run away. Of course it'd bee too much to ask to have nice encounter with a previous]
